In 2020, Sara Event Management had the honor of contributing to a historic event—the reopening of Mogadishu Stadium, also known as the “Village of Sports,” after decades of closure due to Somalia’s civil war. This significant moment marked the revival of a beloved national venue and symbol of Somali unity and resilience.

As the event management company tasked with overseeing the decoration and organization of this prestigious event, Sara Event Management worked closely with the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Federal Government of Somalia to ensure that the reopening was a momentous and memorable occasion. For our work on this event, we were awarded a Certificate of Excellence by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, recognizing our outstanding contribution to the event’s success.
